Shipping policy

OUR SHIPPING METHOD:
For domestic and international orders, Dirt Cheap Dungeons (DCD) defaults to the following shipping services that are available on Shopify:
- USPS (Domestic & International)
- UPS (Domestic)

All orders, including replacement and promotional orders, receive a tracking number per parcel. This tracking number is sent via email, if you choose to provide one. You will receive your tracking number by default and you may request your tracking number again at any time via email at info@dirtcheapdungeons.com.

For more expensive services from those available (i.e. expedited shipping, signature required, etc.), reach out to us via email at info@dirtcheapdungeons.com.

 

DOMESTIC ORDERS
For any custom orders $49 and above within the U.S. and U.S. territories, and for all sets and expansions within the U.S. and U.S. territories, DCD does not charge shipping fees.

For orders within the U.S. and in U.S. territories, DCD uses USPS unless otherwise requested or required.  In the event UPS is at least $5 less, DCD generally uses UPS.

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
At DCD, we ship to everywhere that the services listed in OUR SHIPPING METHOD deliver. Tracking and responsibility over the parcel transfer with each subsequent shipping service.

Please keep track of your parcel by calling your local post office with your order's tracking number(s) to help ensure your order finds its way to you before it is shipped back to DCD.

For orders outside of the U.S. and U.S. territories, DCD covers $10 of shipping fees for the first shipment only. The shipping costs shown during payment are already discounted $10. The costs shown do not include customs fees. Customs fees may be charged upon reception or online if you opt to ship via UPS or DHL International.

All customs and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the recipient, or any individuals purchasing gifts.

By default for destinations outside of the U.S. and U.S. territories, we prefer to use USPS. USPS charges only base custom fees to ship to these locations. If you request that we ship to you via UPS or DHL, please be aware that additional hidden brokerages fees and other fees may be applied by their service to your customs cost at your responsibility. For more information on what shipping services charge for shipping internationally, visit that service's website.

 

MISSING OR RETURNED ORDERS:
If your parcel is lost during shipment, contact the proper shipping service(s) and file a claim for a missing parcel or package, and please notify us at info@dirtcheapdungeons.com, all as soon as possible. We will then confirm the parcel was lost with the proper shipping service(s). Then, after confirmation, we will ship a replacement order, free of charge.

If your parcel is successfully delivered the first time, then returned, we will charge full shipping fees for all subsequent shipments. You will be contacted and, upon response, sent the corresponding invoice. This does not apply to replacement orders for defective parts (see EXCHANGES AND REPLACEMENTS (IF APPLICABLE) under our Refund policy).

 

INCORRECT INFORMATION:
It is your responsibility to make sure your name and address are correct. Entering incorrect or inaccurate information will be done so at your own risk.

Dirt Cheap Dungeons will not check if your address is correct or that it exists when entered. If your name and address are incorrectly entered, you may not be allowed to pick up your parcel from the appropriate shipping facility, i.e. your local post office.

 

LATE SHIPMENTS:
Shopify provides estimates on when orders will be delivered. DCD does not guarantee they will arrive on time, especially around holidays and/or when shipped outside of the U.S. and U.S. territories.

 

EVENINGS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS:

Orders placed after 4:30 PM PST between Monday and Friday, excluding holidays, are not guaranteed to be shipped until the next operating business day.

Orders placed on weekends are not guaranteed to be shipped until the next operating business day (usually Monday).

Orders placed on holidays are not guaranteed to be shipped until the next operating business day.

Extreme circumstances may delay shipment.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUESTS:
With regards to packaging, you may provide additional requests under notes when placing an order, or you may email a request to info@dirtcheapdungeons.com, and we will fulfill them to the best of our abilities, operating within boundaries set legally, by Shopify, shipping services, and within reason.
